IMER Group | USA (IMER USA) is seeking a qualified Inside Sales Representative to work in the Washington DC office. Primary job responsibilities includes providing excellent customer service and light technical support to a broad range of IMER construction equipment through the IMER distribution channel including dealers and rental customers. EXPERIENCE WITH CONSTRUCTION EQUIPMENT SALES and/or RENTAL IS A PLUS. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Inside sales representatives work with customers to find what they want, create solutions and ensure a smooth sales process. Sales representatives might work to find new sales leads, through business directories, client referrals, etc. Inside sales reps are friendly, well-spoken, and problem solvers. • Provide unparalleled customer service and support by being thoroughly knowledgeable of the equipment. • Answer phone calls, emails and online chats regarding pricing, and light technical support. • Provide office administrative support by answering calls, processing customer orders, scheduling shipping, tracking and communicating shipping to customers, and assisting with shipments as needed. • New account development, both directly and via appointed Reps within the Territory, is a primary focus. • Utilize IMER CRM and other available tools to record activities and track results. Education and/or Work Experience Requirements: • A Bachelor’s degree is preferred, a high school diploma required along with 2 - 4 years’ construction equipment related industry experience. CE technical and/or sales training and other industry experience will be considered in lieu of the degree requirements. • Excellent work ethic – self-starter – and team player with the ability to also work independently. • Maintain a clean driver’s record, CDL not required. • Ability to read and interpret documents related to equipment and job application specifications. • Ability to calculate discounts, freight percentages, etc., in order to accurately generate quotes. • Exhibit good written, verbal and organizational skills and is detail oriented. • Ability to utilize MS Office programs, specifically Word and Excel. • Ability to utilize a CRM application to record activities and track results. • Ability to prepare quotes, orders, shipping documents, bill of lading, shipping labels and other documents. Physical Requirements: • While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit, drive, walk, lift and move equipment being transported and demonstrated. The employee must have good hearing, vision and physical abilities. Compensation: • Base salary, paid vacation, medical benefits and other benefits available.
